Trumann School District participated in a closed active shooter drill today in accordance with Arkansas State Law. We take pride in protecting our students and appreciate your understanding of our school's safety. At this time, there is no need to be alerted. |

School Safety (Friday 23, 2018)
Yesterday, a rumor surfaced about a threat at Trumann High School. Multiple students were commenting on social media about the rumor. The Trumann Administration and Trumann Police Department questioned many students at length. NO threat, verbal or on social media, was substantiated. Mrs. Graham, TSD Superintendent, asked for extra police presence at THS because of panic created by the rumor. Trumann High School is not on lockdown and no threat has been made. Please know that every rumor will be thoroughly checked out by Trumann Administration and Trumann Police Department. |
Alternate Bus Stops (Friday, February 23, 2018)
Parents/Guardians of Trumann School District students, Some bus routes have sections of the roads that are impassable due to flooding. Buses will make some alternate stops on the Panda, Duck, Kangaroo, Penguin, and Deer Bus Routes. Please be aware of these possible changes. Safety of our students is a top priority. |
District Spelling Bee
Today four of our TMS students, Eli Renshaw, Cloe Shelby, Noah Clayton, and Tabitha Tyler competed in the district spelling bee at the Harrisburg Fine Arts Center. Eli Renshaw won first place. Cloe Shelby won third place. We are very proud of our students and their accomplishments. Eli will get the opportunity to compete at the state level spelling bee. |
Trumann Schools Open Friday January 19th
Trumann School District will be OPEN and IN SESSION on Friday, January 19, 2018. There will be 2 buses taking alternate routes. Students who live on Old Payneway Lane will be picked up/dropped off on Tulot Road. Students, who ride Bus #10, will be picked up at Central Community Church at 7:15am. Students, who ride Bus #10, will also be dropped off at Central Community Church in the afternoon. |
Thursday January 18th Inclement Weather AMI Day
Trumann School District will be closed on Thursday, January 18, 2018 due to inclement weather. This is an AMI Day for students. (Many rural roads are still ice/snow covered.) Employees may report at 9:00am or may choose to make-up the work day at the end of the school year. Employees, remember, safety is a top priority when making the decision to report to work tomorrow or to make up the day at the end of the year. |

Athletic Banquet Canceled
